Dtac 2011 Extra

So Dtac was this past weekend. And while I admit it was fun, it's not in my top five for best con experiences. But I'll talk about the day before first as my friends and I made it a weekend-long event sort of thing.

Saturday

I met up with my friends Foreverflame, xx-Clouds-Over-Luna & Marie (I don't think she has a dA) around 10am - we were supposed to meet up at 9, but my mom and I were late in leaving the house, and they were looking for a lost iPod. I think it was found xD

We stayed with my mom's life-long friend and her husband for the weekend. It was so awesome of them to let us stay with them!! They've known me my entire life, so they knew that my friends wouldn't be normal. They passed the test apparently. And yet they didn't study for anything XD

After Cathy gave us lunch, she drove us up to the subway station and provided us with tickets to see a 2-man play and a map to get home and find our way around the city better. We went to the ROM (aka Royal Ontario Museum) and got in for free with my ROM Membership ^^ We didn't get to go through the whole museum though, by the time we were about to go see the exhibits for Egypt, Rome, and Greece, the museum was about to close >_< But at least we got through most of it. Hopefully next time we'll get to those last three.

And thanks to my boots killing my feet due to lack of rubber on the heel, when we got to the Eaton Center we went into Old Navy and I bought a pair of comfy flat shoes. OMG my feet were thanking me! We also went into the Disney Store and huggled the plush toys like there was no tomorrow. We had dinner before we went to the show~ Foreverflame had KFC, while the rest of us had A&W.

The 2-man play we went to see was called 2Pianos 4Hands. It was so funny! From what I could tell, because it didn't explain the story in the program, it seemed to be about when the pianists were learning classical piano when they were younger. We couldn't stop laughing XD Big thanks to Ray for getting us the tickets!!!

Sunday

We got up bright and early to change into our cosplays. I wore Christmas Elf Roxas, with Foreverflame as Miss Claus Marluxia, xx-Clouds-Over-Luna as Christmas Vexen, and Marie as present!Riku. We wanted to present her to Sora's... but we couldn't get near the only Christmas Town Sora XD At one point our friend CosplayCanada joined us as Xemnas. Every time I saw him I started singing "Rockin' around, the Xemnas tree!" XD It was because he looked like Xemnas wrapped up as a Christmas tree. That's what you get for letting Demyx decorate Superior.

The con was fun, but I didn't like getting shoved in the dealer's room. At one point I was bent looking at something on one of the tables (t get a better look), and someone shoved me into the table. I now have a bruise on my arm from that >< I also got stepped on by a guy who was dancing around Superior. It was only my finger, but dam that hurt! And seriously, convention staff, sucked. At least the woman who let me downstairs to use the ATM near the Motorcycle Show was nice. She overrode what the other guy told me.

Shortly after getting a picture of a Eucliwood Hellscythe from Kore wa Zombie Desu Ka?, I got attacked by an Axel. She was so happy to see me because I was the only Roxas she'd seen all day. And there I was, Roxas as a Christmas elf in TIGHTS! Only the manliest of men wear tights. And dresses by Marluxia's standards xD It ended up that Axel and friends came and sat with our group for a while ^^ It was a lot of fun.

And I got to see my friend Jaga who I met when I was attending Max the Mutt~ I met her when I met Alexis-Rider and NoahWolfrin If it wasn't for MtM I wouldn't have the friends I do~!

Overall, con was fun, cosplaying fun, handed out a LOT of candy canes, got loved by an Axel. I may go again. Not 100%. It's a 70% chance I'll go again next year ^^

That night back at Ray & Cathy's after the con, we hung out in the room Foreverflame was sleeping in. Ray & Cathy made us popcorn and we watched some videos on YouTube. And they found a Kateko Hitman Reborn! character that I would fit with ^^ Mammon is my kind of character!!!
