Anime North 2012

So Anime North is over for another year, and I gotta say, it gets better every year!!

Friday:
Cosplay: Spitfire from Air Gear


Group got to the con later than initially expected - we arrived about 4:15pm.

I ended up missing my Air Gear photoshoot, but I did run into NekoCat from CosCom that was cosplaying Kazu! He was excited that he got to see me in Spitfire, and that I had the Flame Regalia

I went to the Final Fantasy Photoshoot [Friday Edition]. I got a lot of great photos, and I did the private shoot for my friend Lady-Liliana as Lady Ashe in her wedding dress from Final Fantasy XII. Was great to see the Dissidia group from Otakuthon!!

While I took photos at the FF shoot, my boyfriend took photos of cosplayers who wandered by, not having much interest in the shoot. That's fine though, he came to it to be with me.

After doing the photoshoot for Ashe, I found my Kazu! 12Dee3 wasn't too far off, hiding behind trees for shade. We went to dinner together while Dave got mine and his passes from Marx. Kelsey's has quite delicious food 12Dee3's mom pointed out to me that I had the same dinner last year at Milestones xD

After dinner, Kazu and I had our private photoshoot with my boyfriend. I am patiently waiting for photos from this. We remembered most of the poses we wanted photos of Though it did involve some discomfort for some of them, we survived!!!

Didn't go to the rave though... too much of a headache. But I did hang out with Jaga and CosplayCanada for a while though at night while Jaga danced in her light-up Miku cosplay!

Saturday:
Cosplay: Ren from Elemental Gelade


Got up early and got into Ren around... 7:30? Dave, Jaga, and I headed out for breakfast at Tim Hortons. Mmm... breakfast sandwich with Ice Capp

There was so much deliciousness! I got to cosplay with my boyfriend~! SO HAPPY!!! I loved being Ren with him. But sadly my boots killed me. And my wig was waaay too tight. We weren't in the cosplays all day.

About 10:30 I did a private photoshoot for 12Dee3 and her friend Kat as Kotetsu and Barnaby from Tiger & Bunny. It was a fun photoshoot and I got some really great shots of them I hope they'll like the photos! While waiting for them to arrive at the meeting spot I was taking photos like a mad-woman XD I love taking pictures as much as I love cosplaying!

After their shoot I went into the dealer's for a bit and got some stuff. Then went to the Final Fantasy Photoshoot [Saturday Edition], and did two private shoots - Valefor & Yuna from Final Fantasy X for xHylianKnightx & Lady-Liliana, and Reno from Final Fantasy VI for CosplayCanada. I love all the photos!!! I was out of cosplay by the time I went to the shoot due to the cosplay I had on being a pain for the wig and boots.

I also ended up hosting the Tales of... shoot with CosplayCanada After hosting that and walking around a bit we finished up his private shoot. God I love those photos. Brought him up to mine, Jaga, Dave, and David's hotel room for a bit so we could have a rest - our feet were dead.

Later on was the yaoi party with 12Dee3, CosplayCanada, Jaga, and myself! Oh it was so much fun~! Jaga tried alcohol for the first time ever - I brought Strawberry Smoothie Flavoured Vex Vodka Coolers. They tasted like pop so she was okay with it ALL THE YAOI!!!

And got my stuff into the bus that night like planned

Sunday:
Cosplay: Kuja from Dissidia Final Fantasy / Final Fantasy IX


Final day of the con. And the day of my big cosplay! Yep, Kuja made it out to the con

I went out on my own in the morning. But sadly, due to me not being able to fit in Tim Hortons thanks to my cosplay, I couldn't get an Ice Capp But I came across Miranda-chan (Cosplay.com) and she offered to buy me an Ice Capp! She was so super nice for doing that! I am so very grateful! I also ran into Evil-Antho and he was cosplaying Archer from Fate/stay night!! He remembered my Rider cosplay from 2010 And Agito/Akito from last year

I had to practically run to NeferCosplay and Lady-Liliana's hotel so I could do their photoshoot - they were running behind. Not a lot of poses, but I got some great shots again!

And then as soon as it was done, I ran across the convention to get to the Final Fantasy photoshoot! I was hosting, had to be there. I left the Holiday Inn at 10:58, got to the shoot at 11:02. I ran the distance in four minutes O_O I melted when I got there, I was so grateful to those who fanned me. THANK YOU SO!!!

And there was a Garnet at the shoot! OMGOMG!! And poor xHylianKnight, one Zidane against three Kujas XD And a Black Waltz no. 2

I changed out of Kuja after a while and spent most of the day with CosplayCanada It was fun
