Quinte Mini Con 2013

So this past weekend was the first ever Quinte Mini Con. I'm con chair and was really busy during the weekend, but luckily I had my wonderful staff to help with this. And of course the volunteers.

I got up pretty early with my mom, we got to the venue about 7:15am so I had everything ready to go for the weekend.

I mostly did a lot of running around during the course of the weekend.

It went a lot better than expected. Our official attendance number was 308 (not including dealers, artists, promo, guests...)

Year 2 is definitely going to be a go. With me being con chair I did a few interviews for newspapers and everything. They all seemed very happy with how the convention had gone.

There were a few things that could have gone better, but our panels each had someone to attend, and all of our guests were loved. Our guests said that they'd all be happy to come back which is awesome I'm glad that everyone had such a fun time at QMC

I don't really know what to say except thank you to all who came, the con was made for fans by fans.

And the convention will definitely be back for next year
