HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!

So I went to Montreal to celebrate new years with my boyfriend ~Raybras Of course I also got to see ~Alexis-Rider, ~DarkWolfrin, *trixyloupwolf, and *maverickdelta

as my train to Montreal was originally supposed to pull into central station for 8:12pm. There was a 15 minute delay in it getting to Belleville. That was fine. Expected due to the snow. I anticipated such. The fail came after the stop in Dorval. We got five minutes from the station and the train stopped. So we sat... and sat... in one spot the train was stopped for two hours. It was 1:05am by the time I got off the train. Even though I told ~Raybras to just go back home, and I'd take a taxi... he stayed

On Friday night *maverickdelta, Isabelle, Vincent, and David came over and we played a few games. I actually liked the ones we played, even though I'm not really a gamer. But they let me have main say as I can't stand three-hour games like they can. I can do three hours+ of games, but not of just one. That's too much for their kind. We played Dixit and Red Dragon Inn. I lost at both but I really enjoyed them. Dixit especially since it involved creativity for art and story aspects, and required some thinking. Red Dragon Inn made me think slightly of Munchkin since you have to do what you can to get everyone else out.

I'd been wanting to play for a couple of years, but I finally got to I'm glad I did! I really enjoyed playing it! Though Squall really needs to cheer up. He's too emo :S Even more so than Roxas! But I thought it'd be a good chance to play since I will be cosplaying Ultimecia this coming May with *YamanekoDemon as KH Sephiroth and ~Lady-Liliana as Heaven Emperor. Fondu was my dinner - omg so good!!! Even found out how I prefer mushrooms RAW!

besides ~Raybras helping me with playing VIII until he went to his friend's birthday party for the evening-night. So it was girl's night! Just me, *trixyloupwolf, ~Alexis-Rider, and ~DarkWolfrin Pizza was on call for dinner and the movie was really good! I'd never seen Burlesque before! I'm glad I got to see it Though I'm kinda sad about when ~Raybras got back - roughly 3am. But I had him with me to sleep~

I could have done without a few things, but I'm happy I got to see my friend Marx who I hadn't seen since Otakuthon Went to the party with everyone at Tony's.... but I left early with ~DarkWolfrin and ~Alexis-Rider. They were tired... and ~Raybras figured I was on the verge of a breakdown due to all the French and stuff. He was right. As much as we wanted to stay together... he told me it'd be better if I went back with them. But he kept his promise that he'd be there when I woke up in the morning, and that he'd be the one to wake me. We spent all New Year's Day together Playing FFVIII, and we gave each other a good challenge for playing Soul Calibur IV! Dinner ended up being chicken from Scores and we watched Pan's Labyrinth - damn good movie! If you haven't seen it go watch it




First up for the year is Frostcon, which is actually this month! OMG O_O I'm on staff and I'm the official convention photographer

The rest of the year events-wise has the Cosplay Tea Party & Picnic in April, Anime North in May, Faery Fest in June, Otakuthon and Fan Expo in August, QHCDPV in October, and QMC in November. Date for QHCDP to be determined.

I had a bit of a change of plans for cosplay for Otakuthon. I won't be doing Cammy White anymore. I'll wait for next year to cospaly her - I don't think I'll be quite comfortable enough yet to do that costume. So instead, and also as a way of having a cosplay to do with my boyfriend, I will be doing Eucliwood Hellscythe from Kore wa Zombie Desu Ka? ~Raybras said he'd rewear his Ayumu cosplay from 2011 to go with it He's so sweet! And he was so excited when I said I wanted to cosplay Eu!
