Took me longer than usual, but now my post about Costume Con 32!

Thursday

I am so not a morning person, but I had to get up at 4:30am to catch my train for 6:12. I was so thankful someone let me into the station 10 minutes early so that I didn't have to spend 15-20 minutes sitting outside the train station. For once my train was on Track 1!

I got to CosplayCanada's around 9:30am. Got to explore the city with him and his mom too - I rarely am in the city, so it was nice to see parts I hadn't before. And got some sewing done on his Roman Torchwick coat from RWBY.

Was a fun day before the event, glad I went down a day early.

Friday

Cosplay: Natalya from WWE with CosplayCanada as Dean Ambrose
Title Belt Holders by Midnight-Dance-Angel

Was a bit of a slow day, and sadly this is the only day that CosplayCanada and I got to go to Droo's booth. But hey got this awesome photo from him ^^

This was a request/suggestion from CC. There was also a WWE Live in Toronto event that started at 7:30, and he asked if I wanted to go. Moment I said "Of course I want to go!", he requested I cosplay WWE with him, and suggested me Natalya. Was quite fun to be a WWE Diva :D And big thanks to him for loaning me his Divas belt + literally cutting me out of my top (I made it wrong and couldn't get it off otherwise T_T)

Bonus of this cosplay: Even though it was my first time showing cleavage in cosplay + stomach I was really ok wearing it. I think part of what helped was having CC with me all day.

Was fun to go to the WWE event at the end of the day and see some of my fave wrestlers live <3 (speaking of which, tonight is Extreme Rules so I'm pretty damn happy about this >3)

Saturday

Cosplay: Karkat Vantas from Homestuck with CosplayCanada as Dave Strider
CG: Make Dave Jump by Midnight-Dance-Angel

Saturday was a lot of fun, just kinda derping in Homestuck cosplay with my friend. I gave away my "Like" ribbon this day. There was an adorable Tavros cosplayer, and I had to give it to them (Tavros is my favourite character in Homestuck so I had to).

Unusually for me there was a lot of talk about buckets. Dave got in my bucket :I DAMMIT STRIDER

And got some fun photos with everage too~ Like the one above. Also got Jagasky her wolf plushie to her that I made for her Red Riding Miku cosplay.

This was also my first time ever WATCHING a masquerade! It was so weird, and relaxing. I took tons of photos of every entry. I was intimidated by the Novices. Like, I compete at Regional Artisan, and the Novices at this masquerade left me speechless.

Big congrats to all the winners. Also WHOO~ Costume Con 32 had the largest Sci-Fi & Fantasy masquerade to date with 125 people in the course of 88 entries! Also this was the largest year of Costume Con to date! GO CANADA!

Sunday

Cosplay: Desk Job Maria Hill from The Avengers/Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. with CosplayCanada as Agent Phil Coulson & Victoria as Victoria Hand
Maria + Coulson : Tired by Midnight-Dance-Angel

Kinda relaxing day too. But still pretty busy with promoting Quinte Mini Con & FrostCon. Also got to have a shoot with friends in our SHIELD cosplays, and some interesting photos came about. There are a few that I really want, I just hope it won't be forever before they arise.

I also did a photoshoot for a friend of their 4th Ninja War Tobi cosplay. Was also supposed to do one of the Panam girls, but due to scheduling, and them being tired after the Historical masquerade, didn't happen. Which is ok, things happen.

I sat and watched the Historical Masquerade too. Was amazing the work that went into the historical costumes! I was awestruck!

It was after this masquerade that they announced that Costume Con will be back in Toronto in 2017!

Monday

Cosplay: Princess Velvet of Valentine from Odin Sphere
Snake, What Are You Doing? by Midnight-Dance-Angel

Short day of Costume Con. And yet I wore my best costume of the weekend this day. But meh. Had fun.

I was soooo happy though - I GOT TO HOLD A SNAKE <3 <3 <3
I have pet and fed snakes before in the past, but I had never been able to hold one before. So this just made my day. He kept coiling around my body and there were a few times he tried to go into my shirt. Didn't want him doing that though xD

Also registered for Costume Con 35! I can't wait - 3 plans already, and two of them are already started!

Went to the pool party that night too with CosplayCanada and AfterDark17. It was really nice to get to talk with everyone in a more relaxed way than the rush-about way that comes from conventions/conferences/events.

Tuesday

Headed home. It was a lot of fun and I have some amazing memories of this weekend.

Also, those plans for Costume Con 35:
hall costume: Water Faery
sci-fi/fantasy masq: Deamond & Ameran from Souls of Chaos as done by Deamond-89
historical masq: Cold War military uniforms

I CAN'T WAIT FOR 2017

Awesome people I got to see:

The majorities of the novices at Costume-Con was MASTER cosplayers at Otakuthon/G-Anime/Anime North/ etc... that why...
